"Pearland, TX is a great community to live in.  It's located just 20 miles south of Downtown Houston.  The area has grown tremendously in the 10+ years we have been residents.  The addition of Beltway-8 (Toll Road Highway) makes the commute to any part of Houston convenient.  But the really great part that I enjoy the most is the garage sales of course.  The City of Pearland requires that we purchase a permit which to some may not sound like such a great thing - but the great thing about it is that the city provides garage sale signs that help us easily identify where the sales are.  It's so easy because most of the neighborhoods are easily accessible from the main road of FM 518/East Broadway.  So, for a great garage sale shopping experience, come to Pearland!"  - from the Editor
